Accelerated delivery

Faster, when you are ready for it.

Some organisations genuinely can go live in weeks rather than years. Others cannot, and finding that out halfway through is expensive. RAPID starts with an honest look at whether speed is safe for you, then delivers against it.

See the three routes

If you are not ready to move fast, we will tell you.

Sound familiar?

Something has set the clock.

Most people asking about a faster route are not chasing speed for its own sake.

  • The business needs it this year, not in two years

A carve-out date, an acquisition or a contract end is setting the clock, not an IT roadmap.

  • You have seen a long programme drift before

Eighteen months in, still designing, and nobody quite able to say why.

  • You mostly need what the product already does

The requirement is real but not exotic, and standard capability would cover most of it.

  • Someone has promised a date already

And you would like to know honestly whether it is achievable before you repeat it.

  • You do not have people to spare for a year

The team who know the business still have day jobs.

What decides whether you can go fast

Five honest questions, then a straight answer.

None of them are about how hard anybody is willing to work.

  1. Does the product already do it?: The closer your process sits to standard capability, the faster this gets. Genuine differentiators are fine, they just need naming early.
  2. Are your people actually available?: Not on the plan. In the diary, alongside their day job, for the weeks it matters.
  3. Can somebody decide?: When two parts of the business disagree, one named person needs to settle it that week, not next quarter.
  4. Is the data in reasonable shape?: Data is the most common reason a compressed timeline slips. We look at it at the start, not the month before go-live.
  5. Will the business change how it works?: Acceleration means adopting proven ways of working where the platform has a sensible one.
  6. We give you one of four answers: Ready, ready once specific gaps close, standard delivery is safer, or we need to understand more first.

The four possible answers

Two of these mean not yet.

You get one of them, with the reasoning, before any date is discussed.

Ready to go

The conditions support it. We agree a first release and get moving.

Ready, with conditions

Achievable once specific gaps close. We name them rather than hoping they resolve themselves.

Standard delivery is safer

The work is doable, but a compressed timeline would not hold.

Understand it first

Scope or readiness needs assessing before any date is credible.

Three routes

Which one applies depends on the platform.

Complexity decides the route, not the size of your organisation.
